**This was one of the first stories I wrote in college, and I think that even though it has faults it is interesting. Maybe someday I’ll do a whole re-write, see what I come up with. I know I could do better now, though it would probably lose some of the pure fable quality of the writing. I turned this in to a professor who only liked realism, and she loved it.** &
